200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Shanti Baby Yoga Teacher Training Philosophy
This 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved program will deepen your practice and understanding of yoga. Whether you desire to teach yoga or simply improve your own understanding and practice of yoga, this program will take you on a transformational and informational journey. In this training, not only will you learn asanas (poses) intimately, but also learn their Sanskrit name, the muscles used to perform them, the chakras the asana stimulates and the overall benefits of yoga to your body, mind and soul. We will explore meditation, the yoga sutras (philosophy of yoga) and pranayama (yogic breathing). And Shanti Baby's unique aspect of training will cover teaching students with special needs, like pregnancy, injuries, children, seniors and more. You will learn how to sequence and structure a class, make the most of your teaching space, modify poses and adjust students as well as manage the business aspects of yoga.
