In the spirit of the Autumnal Equinox,
having equal hours of day and night and being able to balance eggs
on their end, this special class will be all about balance. Weather
permitting, we will balance our bodies out in nature, focusing on
the use of breath, mind and body to prepare for and work through
balancing poses. Come join us and find your inner and outer balance
on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30pm.
In this class, we will:
- Prepare the mind and body with special pranayama (breathing
techniques) for balance
- Build a strong foundation for balance with the feet, legs, arms
and hands
- Strengthen the core muscles to hold the body in the balancing
asanas (postures or poses)
- Safely and conscientiously position the body into the balance
at your level of flexibility and strength
The cost for this special is $20 when you pre-register
or $25 after 9/19. Please register in advance (yellow button below)
to hold your spot.
Registration continues until the class is full, so register early.
This class is for adults-only and not
recommended for pregnant students.
