Couples' Labor & Childbirth with Yoga

In this workshop, you and your partner will learn:
            • How to relieve stress, tension and related aches
            • How to prepare your body and mind for labor and delivery
            • Various breathing techniques for labor and delivery
            • Postures and positions to reduce pain during labor
            • Partner empowerment to coach and support mom
            • Visualizations and meditations to stay focused and relaxed
                         during labor and childbirth
            • Possibility of a drug-free birth (risks & benefits of
                         pharmaceuticals) and your options
            • And so much more...

No Yoga Experience is Necessary

Mamas do simple postures, breathing and visualization to support labor and encourage (or discourage) childbirth

Partners support certain postures, provide comfort with massage and breathing techniques

Great refresher for parents and terrific crash-course for expectant parents with limited time

Everyone is empowered for childbirth

Energize & Equalize
Explore the Chakras & Chanting
In this class, we will delve deeply into the subtle body of the Chakras. We will learn about Mantras, chanting and how they activate Chakras and can lift the spirit. We will translate and practice various traditional chants in yoga for an uplifting workshop.

Whether you are a yoga teacher, student or just interested in the beautiful sound of sung chants, this unique workshop has something for you.

This is part of the Shanti Baby Yoga Teacher Training,
but all students of yoga are welcome!

Yoga & The Artist
Yoga for Creative Souls, Artists & Performers
(Sacral Chakra)

In this class, we will open the Sacral Chakra, the source of all creativity. We will use our imagination and visualization both in poses and meditation. If you participated in the Moving Meditation class, you will recognize some elements from that class. Please bring a notebook or sketch pad to this class (whatever your medium of creativity).
